1. Introduction & Scope
YUEJIETRADE Technology Studio operates the website yuejietrade.com and publishes a portfolio of mobile applications distributed through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and other distribution platforms. This Privacy Policy applies to your use of:
- Our website at yuejietrade.com and all subdomains;
- Our mobile applications (collectively, "YUEJIETRADE Apps"), including but not limited to: Offline Audio Editor, Pantry Freshness, Trip Logger, License Vault, Goal Engine, and Collection Vault;
- Email, web, and other communications you send to or receive from us;
- Any other services we offer that display or link to this Policy.
Core principle: YUEJIETRADE is built on a local-first architecture. Most of your content never touches our servers. Where we do collect it, this Policy explains exactly what is collected, why, and how to exercise your rights.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in three categories: information you give us directly, information collected automatically through your use of our products, and information from third parties.
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account information. If you create an account (e.g., opt-in cloud sync or newsletter subscription), we collect your name, email, and password. You may also sign in via Apple, Google, or other federated providers — we receive only the information authorized by you.
- Support communications. When you contact support@yuejietrade.com or contact@yuejietrade.com, we collect the content of your message, metadata, and any files or screenshots you send.
- User content. In apps that support user-generated content, the content is stored locally on-device by default. You may opt to sync to our cloud; in that case we store the encrypted content necessary to provide sync.
- Feedback & survey responses. If you respond to optional surveys, we collect your responses.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device information. Device model, OS version, locale, time zone, and a randomly generated installation identifier.
- Usage information. Aggregated, privacy-preserving counts of feature usage, crash logs, and performance telemetry. Where possible this is computed locally on-device using differential privacy.
- Log information. IP address (truncated, retained 7 days), request timestamps, referrer.
- Advertising identifiers. In apps that show advertising, the device's advertising identifier (IDFA/GAID) is accessed only after explicit consent via App Tracking Transparency or equivalent Android controls.
2.3 Information From Third Parties
If you sign in through a third-party identity provider, we receive only the profile fields you explicitly authorize. We do not receive your contacts, photos, or other private data from those providers.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, secure, and improve our apps and website.
- To authenticate users and provide opt-in cloud sync features.
- To respond to your support communications.
- To send administrative information (terms changes, security notices).
- To send marketing communications, only where you have given explicit consent or where permitted by law.
- To serve contextual advertising through our advertising partners, only after consent.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, security incidents, and abuse.
- To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
